Draft your all-time NFL roster or lock in one franchise โ then try to go undefeated.
The 17-0 Challenge puts you in control of history's greatest NFL rosters. No team has ever gone 17-0 in the modern NFL regular season โ the closest was the 2007 New England Patriots, who went 16-0 before falling in Super Bowl XLII. Now it's your turn to try.
Draft your all-time NFL roster by spinning through random team and decade combinations. Each spin lands on a specific franchise and era โ you might get the 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers, the 1990s San Francisco 49ers, or the 2010s Kansas City Chiefs. Pick the best available player for your open roster slot, then spin again.
Your seven-player roster fills six positions: QB, RB1, RB2, WR1, WR2, TE, and a FLEX spot that can go to any skill position. Balance matters as much as star power โ a team dominated by one elite player at one position will be weaker than a well-rounded squad.
The simulation engine rewards three things: total statistical output (career yards and touchdowns), roster balance across all positions, and star power from Pro Bowl and MVP selections. The highest-rated rosters combine multiple MVP-caliber players with solid depth at every position.
The All-Time Draft mode lets you pull players from any team and era in NFL history. You can pair Tom Brady with Randy Moss, Barry Sanders with Jerry Rice โ any combination that fits your open slots. This mode rewards knowledge of the entire history of the league.
The One Franchise Challenge locks you to a single team. Choose your franchise โ the Cowboys, Patriots, 49ers, Steelers โ and then spin through decades of that team's history to build the best roster you can from players who actually wore that uniform.
The 17-0 simulation calculates your team's win probability per game based on statistical strength, roster balance, and star power. Your team then plays 17 simulated games, with the win probability applied independently to each game โ just like real football, where even great teams can lose on any given Sunday.
An elite roster with multiple MVP-caliber players reaches roughly 85โ90% win probability per game, giving roughly a 10โ16% chance of going 17-0 in a single attempt. A solid but not elite roster has closer to 1โ3% odds. That's what makes a perfect season so rare โ and so rewarding when you achieve it.
Yes. Each draft round gives you one free re-spin for the team and one re-spin for the era. Use them wisely โ if you land on a weak team or an era with few available players at your open position, the re-spin can unlock a much better pick.
